-End of term-

It's almost nearing the end of the term and as usual it's time to clear my desk. It's unbelievable how cluttered my desk is. Hee..sometimes it's embarassing when my students come into the staff room.

The annual spring cleaning will begin next Monday. However this year it is different as I will be moving to a new environment next year. By now many of my students know that I'll be leaving and have asked the reason for the transfer. I guess I feel really stagnant. Somehow I feel I'm not shining in the marketplace as I ought to. A new environment will surely pose new challenges. Furthurmore if I'm in my comfort zone then I'll never grow professionally as a teacher isn't it?

So it is with a tinge of sadness I'll be saying farewell to my students and of course my lovely colleagues. Hey gals, it has been a wonderful time with you in BBSS. Though things got off to a bumpy start, today we are all shopping kakis who spend time together and pore over magazines looking at the latest fashion trends! It has also been you gals who opened my eyes to the myriad of colours for clothes and shoes! Many of you may not believe this but I used to wear only black shoes for every single outfit I own. Truly the 4.5 years have been wonderful memories and I know I will miss you gals sorely. I sincerely hope we'll keep in touch even though all of us are going to be in different places. Gosh I sound like such a bimbo! Hee..honestly besides the fashion tips we've shared, thanks for being there when I needed a listening ear, the solutions you gals have offered and emphathy you gave. Life is much more bearable with you gals around. =)
